All I want – My Christmas Story

Who have stuffed themselves on Christmas? I have, guilty as charged! We basically did nothing at home but prepared ourselves to go to church in the morning then to my sister for lunch and sister-in-law for dinner. And we couldn’t be any busier. I thought it would be easier but it was even harder, dragging ourselves to the next food binge when we were stuffed already haha!!!
But it was a happy food binge, truly family is the best! I am blessed to have a big family in Australia, my mum came over too from the Philippines. What else could I ask for? I guess all I want for Christmas is the continuous love from the ones who are near and dear to me.
I am obsessed with wrap dresses and this red mystic dress with stars all over was perfect for the festive season. I’m currently living in slides too, nothing beats the comfort of wearing flats with embellishments and shying away from heels at the moment. These pearl slides in faux shearling were a steal.
Honestly, how many pretty and yummy holiday food you can create these days. These short bread and ginger bread were made by my nieces and that full charcuterie board was done by my sister-in-law. I told you, it’s so hard to get away not stuffed this holiday season.
I actually had 3 change of outfits, not planned really but there was a change of weather that day. Our summer here is crazy, one day it’s hot the next day it’s not. Or it can start being warm then the other half being cool. I ended up wearing a ruffle tea dress in white floral print for dinner, I also paired it with another furry slides.
How did your Christmas celebration go? Hope you had a nice one and would be looking forward for the coming year. Cheers to the New Year, wish 2019 would be a great and peaceful year for everyone.
