Winter is here, and we all know what that means! CHRISTMAS IS COMING! I've put together a bucket list of what I'd like to do during the winter & Christmas period as I thought this would be something nice and different to do rather than your everyday Christmas blog post.
1. Visit A Christmas Display At A Garden Centre
CHECK! I love going to garden centres during Christmas time to see what lovely displays they've put up. I love seeing the singing Santa bands, the garden centre I love the most is at Hiltop Garden Centre where the above photo was taken. They have a whole room filled with pink and white decorations, not to mention loads of unicorn decorations and ornaments!
2. Go To A Christmas Lights Switch On
I haven't been to a light switch on in years! I used to go religiously when I was younger, but this year I think I left it a little late, but hey, you can do your own Christmas light switch on at home for Christmas!
3. Go To The Festive Craft Fair
Every year I see this on at the NEC in Birmingham, and I always forget to get tickets and then miss it, so I missed that again this year, but there is always next year that's for sure! I like to go to Christmas fairs in the local area too and go on all the tombola's for charity as that's always fun.
4. Christmas Meal With Friends
Myself and my group of friends make this an annual thing where we all have a lovely kind of Christmas Day all together, where we all wear Christmas jumpers, exchange presents, eat all the food and enjoy each other's company at this lovely festive time of year. So I'm excited for that!
5. Create Christmas Hampers
This year I've decided to make up these little boxes full of people's presents. I've been keeping my glossy boxes to do this with and will be putting some of my friends presents in the boxes with lots of different Christmas treats in them. Like chocolate snowmen, coins etc and lovely little pamper stuff that they would like. I thought that would be cute, one box per person and everything in there to suit them!
6. Go Ice Skating
I haven't been ice skating in SO long! It was one of me and Adam's first dates ice skating, so it would be nice to go again soon during the Christmas period to make us feel that extra bit festive!
7. Make A Yule Log
I love baking at Christmas time, and a Yule log is something I've not made since I was about 12! So this is something I really want to make. Maybe on Christmas Eve? That would be cute, next to baking Christmas cookies!
8. Create A Festive IGTV Video
I completely forgot about this and definitely need to make a look book for the festive period for Christmas and NYE! I've already got some outfit ideas in mind.
9. Go To Disneyland Paris
This is definitely happening as myself and the girls have booked to go to Disneyland Paris in January! We haven't been in 3 years so it's about time we went. So we are super excited for it, even though it's going to be super cold, it's going to be SO worth it!
10. Read More Books
This is something I always want to do but can hardly find the time for. I have loads of books I want to read, but working so much I can't fit in the time. I really need to set aside an hour or even just half an hour just dedicated to just reading.
Hope you enjoyed seeing what I would like to do during the winter season. What are you wanting to do during winter?
